Michael Pena Receives Rookie Of The Week Honors

ASTORIA, N.Y. - Freshmen guard Michael Pena (Dumont, NJ) scored 24 points in his collegiate debut leading the Vaughn Warriors to a convincing victory over New School. Pena shot 8-14 from the field including three triples. Pena also pulled down five rebounds and handed out four assists filling up the stat sheet. Pena's performance helped earn him Rookie of the Week Honors.
