Dix Hills, NY – The Vaughn College Phoenix fell to Five Towns College 116–80 on November 7, 2025, in Dix Hills, NY. The Phoenix trailed by eight at halftime but were unable to slow down the Sound's inside scoring and transition attack in the second half.
Game Overview
Five Towns opened the game on a 10–0 run as Vaughn struggled with turnovers and missed chances at the rim. The Phoenix responded behind Ivan Alvarez and Nathaniel Edwards, who attacked the paint to settle the offense. A three from Ean Chambers and key plays from Alvarez, Edwards, and Cedric Green helped Vaughn trim the deficit, and a late jumper from Bartosz Sawon sent the Phoenix into halftime down 54–46 after battling back from an early double-digit hole.
