Phoenix Men’s Soccer Enters 2025 Season Poised for Success
QUEENS, N.Y. – The Vaughn College men's soccer program is back on the pitch this fall, opening preseason training on August 5 with renewed focus and determination. The Phoenix are coming off their first winning season in over 10 years, and Head Coach Kevyn Davis is confident his squad can keep the program trending in the right direction.
"Last year showed what's possible when we stay committed," Davis said. "We've got the right mix of returning players and newcomers to compete every time we step on the field. Our goal is to win matches and continue to raise the bar for Vaughn soccer."
The Phoenix will lean on a core group of experienced returners who played key roles in last season's turnaround. With a more challenging schedule ahead, the team knows consistency and resilience will be critical to producing results.
Vaughn opens the 2025 campaign on Sunday, September 7, looking to carry over the intensity and winning mindset that defined last year's squad.
