Warriors Tennis Fall to New School
QUEENS, N.Y. – The men's tennis team squared off against the New School Narwharls on Sunday, April 12. The Warriors entered the game, 0-2, looking for their first win of the season. The Narwharls entered the game 0-1, having lost their first game of the season to Cooper Union. Both teams were undermanned for the match.
New School gained an early advantage over the Warriors winning their number one and number two doubles matches. The Warriors would win the number three doubles match against the Narwharls, by forfeit.
The Warriors struggled to turn things around in their singles matches. They would earn one singles match victory by forfeit, before falling to the Narwhals 2-7.
After Sunday's loss, the men's tennis team dropped to 0-3 on the season. The Warriors look to bounce back on Tuesday, April 14, when they take on Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) opponent St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn).
