Two Warriors Receive Post Season Recognition
QUEENS, N.Y. - The Warriors men's tennis team had two players receive post season recognition after the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship on Sunday, May 1. Although the Warriors would have liked to compete for the men's tennis title, their success this season did not go unnoticed by the conference.

Sophomore Elias Dimitropoulos (Huntington, NY) was named Co-Rookie of the Year with Cassidy Seo from Culinary Institute. Dimitropoulos has been a bright spot for the Warriors all season. He competed at the number four spot for the Warriors finishing with a 4-2 record in conference play. With one season of experience under his belt, he will look to improve his game and come back more refined next year.
Junior Ahmed Aly (Astoria, NY) was named to the 2016 HVIAC All-Conference team. This is the third consecutive season Aly has been selected to the HVIAC All-Conference team. He finished with a 2-1 record in both his singles and doubles matches this season. His success has been extremely important to the growth and development of the Warriors men's tennis program over the past few years.
