Men’s Cross Country Competes in Bard College Cross Country Invitational

The Vaughn College men's cross country team competed in the Bard College Invitational Saturday, September 20. The Bard College Invitational is an 8k race, featuring 25 teams from the state of New York. The Warriors finished in 19th place in their first cross country meet of the season.
John Rueckel (Hamburg, NJ) was the first one to finish the 8k race for the Warriors, with a time of 27:52. Rueckel's time put him in the top 50 best times for the race, earning 34th place. Dashawn Johnson (Astoria, NY) had the second best time for Warriors, crossing the finish line with a time of 34:02.
The men's cross country team will next compete in the College of Staten Island Invitational on Sunday, September 28 at 11 a.m.
